1983 Cockburn Vintage Port

Funky aroma of cooked prunes, old cork, and aged sausage. Salami! Medium flavored body, but with nothing particularly attractive or good. The finish is medium-short. 89 points. Later there was aroma of sawdust, and it seemed much improved. 90+ points. This seemed to be developing and could be even better than that score, but I am out of my pour.
