A previous bottle consumed 2.5 years ago of the same vintage/bottling, was given 92 pts. So there seems to be significant bottle variations. Both bottles purchased at the Norwegian Wine Monopoly.
Bottled 2007. Unfiltered. Plenty sediments. Decanted 3 hrs (should probably be at least 4 hrs). Deep purple colour with a touch of brown on the outer rim. Powerful aroma of berries and oak. Full body. Powerful and quite smooth. Fruity, but also dry in the style. Relatively strong tannins. Minerals/schist is dominant. Well-balanced acidity/sweetness. Medium length aftertaste. 88 pts.
