During the extensive port gathering that took place in Roskilde (near Copenhagen), Denmark, early March this year, I got the opportunity to taste this Colheita. It was purchased by a friend who invited Emmy and me to taste.
No decanting. Medium brown colour with a large yellowish rim. Powerful aroma of oak and citrus. Full body. Powerful taste, a bit sharp (alcohol) and citrus. Acidity was on the high side. Very long aftertaste. Score is based on this pop-and-pour situation. I would expect it to have a higher score with a couple of hours in a decanter. 92 pts.
