This is DRs basic white. Had purchased two bottles to check out the quality, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. According to the Danish representative this white port is only 2-3 years old when bottled.
Bottled 2016. Decanted 1 hr. Golden yellow colour with a hint of bronze. Aroma dominated by fresh fruit (incl peach) and some floral notes. Full to medium body. This white port is quite powerful, is definitely elegant, and have hints of wood and also hermetic fruit. Well-structured and well-balanced acidity/sweetness. Some dryness towards the end. Can be used both on its own and as part of a PortTonic. 89 pts.
