2001 Quinta do Vale Meão Vintage Port

The aromas are fruity with even more citrus, more grape jam, and more grape stem than the previously tasted 2000 VP. There is also eucalyptus and tarragon. The flavor shows the fruit is deep, and darker than that found in the 2000, with a lot of spice too, with some pepper. Mild tannins come out later. Really nice overall. 92+ points.
