Decanted about 5 hours. Nose of licorice, dried plums and anise. This is now starting its transition to secondary notes, while still retaining some of those primary dark stone fruits as well. The soft tannins have not fully resolved yet and there is plenty of acidity to keep this really fresh and vibrant. Love the saddle leather, menthol, and tea leaves which show up on the moderately long spicy finish. Not fully mature yet, but none the less in a really nice spot at the moment.
