2003 Quinta do Vesuvio Vintage Port

Tasted blind in a vertical of Vesuvio. This has a soapy, floral aroma, with rosewater and marigold, along with a little aroma of the flower stem. Lots of fresh fruit flavors, lighter than many of the previously tasted wines (all 1998 or older it turns out). There are flavors of strawberry, peach, and Ranier cherry. The lighter flavors make me think this isn’t one for the long haul. Guessed not to be 200 or 2003, but 1998. (Wrong!) 91 points.
