2009 Vieira de Sousa vintage port

Decanted 5.5 hrs. Deep dark purple colour. Fresh, but also deep complex aroma of fruit (blackcurrant and blackberry), some oak and having floral notes. Full body. At first elegance, then also power. A touch of dryness in a pleasant way. Plenty fresh fruit all the way. Not too sweet and acceptable level of acidity. Well-structured vintage port. Nice for drinking now, but should also age well. 93 pts.
