Bottled 1994. Decanted 1 hr. A lot of sediments and needed double filtering. At decanting it had a very dark red colour with a touch of brown, which stayed on during decanting time. Deep fruity aroma which also included prunes and pears. Hints of spirit. Medium to full body. Taste is powerful with plenty fruit and hints of spirit. Nice acidity/sweetness balance. This LBV is now lacking freshness and I think it will deteriorate within the near future. Medium length aftertaste. Drink up! 88 pts.
