Augusto's 30 Year Old Tawny

Warm aroma with spirit, spice, dried leaf, and cooked sugars showing a Douro bake. The spirit is settling down to reveal some Christmas cake, dried leather, and hint of fruit, raisin. Medium bodied, with lots of warmth here too. Tasty, but surprisingly simple for a 30. Some tangy acid is showing up, along with more fruit, cherry. Pleasing warm finish, medium length. 91 points.
