Nose - Mahogany, old polished furniture, dry
Flavor - Rich thick mouth feel, medium (on the Sercial scale) acidity up front, transitions to rich caramel, then settles into lovely milk chocolate. Acid dances assertively around the edge of the tongue and back of the throat.
Finish - Long, dry, acidic
I'm not a big fan of Sercial, but this is one of the best I've had. Love the caramel and chocolate notes. Much more interesting than their 1990. I like their 1937 as well, but the 77 is the better value to me. Picked up a spare when I came across it.
