2018 Douro Harvest is now officially underway

Facebook is now showing some folks have started bringing in some white grapes. The harvest is officially underway. Lets all hope the weather god's give them perfect conditions throughout the duration.

It rained in and around Pinhâo the night between Tuesday and Wednesday and again during the day.
It hasn’t been as hot as normal. Only 30 degrees at Vesuvio as to normal 40-45 at this time.
Noval, Bulas and Eufemia has started harvesting white grapes.
The vines at Vesuvio had massive amounts of grapes. Like insane on the Touriga Franca.
