Bottled 2014. Decanted 2 hrs (max as otherwise the acidity will be dominating). Medium to dark brown colour. Subdued aroma of oak, herbs and some citrus and nuts in the background. Full body. WOW! Powerful, elegant, a major experience of citrus, herbs and oak. A bit “fat and big” in style, which I find positive. Well-balance and very well-structured tawny port. Minerals and tannins in the background. Acidity is building up towards the end. Neither sweet nor bitter. Loooong aftertaste. 95 pts.
