NV Brunheda 40 years old tawny port

Cask sample. Bottled September 2016. This was the last of four bottles carried home after 2016 FTLOP Harvest Tour.
Decanted 1 hr. Medium clear transparent brown colour. Aroma of citrus and oak. Full body. Taste was powerful and elegant and included citrus, nuts, herbs, burnt sugar, caramel and oak. A bit sharp towards the end with a slight bitterness incl. orange peel. Long aftertaste. A very nice 40 yrs tawny, but slightly reduced quality compared with the three previous bottles. 94 pts.
