1966 Taylor vintage port

Post by Rune EG »

Decanted 3.5 hrs. Dark brownred colour. Quite deep complex aroma (a bit closed) of amongst others oak and minerals, but less fruit than previously experienced. Full body. Powerful, elegant, oak, minerals, raisins, distinct tannins. A well-structured vintage port that also has a nice sweetness/acidity-balance although the acidity was building up towards the end. Long aftertaste dominated by oak and minerals. 93 pts.
