2015 Pintas Vintage port

Decanted 6.5 hrs which worked well. Deep purple colour. Aroma of young berries with touch of perfume/flowers and minerals. Medium to full body. Powerful and super elegant, fruity. Some sweet style cherries. Nice polished tannins with minerals in the background. Well-structured port with a perfect balance acidity/sweetness. Wonderful to drink now until the closed phase appears in abt 3-4 years’ time. Long aftertaste. One of the most elegant young vintage ports that I have tasted. With a bit more body it would have got 1-2 points more. 94 pts.
