1994 Graham Single Harvest Tawny Port

Post by Rune EG »

This 25-year-old “Colheita” was released last winter.
Bottled 2019. Decanted 1 hr 15 min, which was OK, but will be prolonged to 1.5 hr with next bottle. Medium dark brown, but with a tiny touch of red. Aroma of oak, nuts and citrus in a nice harmony. Full body. Powerful and elegant, quite “big” in style. Also nuts/oak and minerals in the background. Nice acidity/sweetness-balance. Some dryness in combination with citrus from mid-part and to the end. Long aftertaste. 92 pts.

We got a pre-release taste of it at the Graham's Lodge last Fall. Very good, but I'll stick to the 1994 Graham's VP [cheers.gif]
