2003 Pintas (Wine & Soul) Vintage Port

Decanted 7 hrs. No sediments. Cork in perfect condition. Deep dark purple colour. Powerful, rich aroma of dark red berries with hints of herbs. Full body. Taste is powerful, elegant, plenty fruit, and in general on the dry side. Minerals and some oak, but subdued. Nice sweetness/acidity-balance. Medium length aftertaste. In general, it appeared a bit closed, and was lacking the freshness-level that I am used to experience from this vintage port. 92 pts.
