2011 DR vintage port

Decanted 6 hrs (will try 8.5 hrs for next bottle). Deep, deep purple colour. Powerful, deep/complex fruit aroma, minerals in the background. Maybe a bit closed. Full body. Powerful, tender like silk, a lot of fruit, minerals in the background. Slightly dry towards the end. A well-structured vintage port with a nice acidity/sweetness-balance. Looking forward to check this port at a later stage. 93 pts.
