2015 Graham's Quinta dos Malvedos vintage port

Decanted 6 hrs (will try 6.5 - 7 hrs next bottle). A lot of fine sediments when decanting. Deep dark red, nearly black. Powerful aroma where the fruit is dominating. Full body. Powerful, elegant and the local soil is there in a nice subdued way. A well-structured young vintage port where there is a good acidity/sweetness-balance. Long fruity aftertaste. Normally 4 yrs old vintages ports have a kind of “raw” style overshadowing too much of other impressions. But not for this one. I am sure it will last a long time, but it can also be enjoyed now. 93 pts.
