50 cl bottle. Bottled 2019 = 28 year old colheita at bottling.

Decanted 1.5 hrs, which is needed in order for the alcohol to disappear. Medium brown/cognac colour.
Aroma of citrus and wood. Full body. Taste is powerful, quite ”round”, citrus (especially orange) and wood.
Well-structured colheita with a good acidity/sweetness-balance, although slightly on the sweet side.
Silky smooth in style. Long aftertaste dominated by citrus. 93 pts.

This is a favorite! I would buy a lot of it... but I doesn't make sense to carry it back on the plane.

This to me is Colheita 1991's equivalent of the 1991 VP by Croft. Both around the 93 range in points, but more importantly, they are both young and beautiful examples of their specific genres.

Well, it made enough sense for me to bring one bottle back on the plane. Good stuff and great QPR.

Yes. I should have bought one or two of them when I was there.
