Do all LBV's give some sediment ?
I just opened a Niepoort '98 LBV that showed plenty . ( not as much as a VP )

Given enough time in bottle, even filtered wines will eventually leave a very small amount of fine sediment. I had a '83 Croft LBV (Filtered) this year and there was some fine sediment in it. I've also had a '84 Smith Woodhouse LBV (Unfiltered) that had more sediment than some VP's of the same age range.
