1933 Van Zeller VP

Post by Eric Menchen »

Orange-brown in hue with a suggestion of grey. Smells of stewed fruits, figs, tar, along with a umami character or soy, which evolved to almost a teriyaki aroma. Sweet and slick in the mouth with a little stewed character, but also has a lot of sugary caramel, toffee, and light brown sugar, along with orange and lemon citric acid. It is settling in nicely. 91 points.
