1968 Krohn Colheita

Post by Eric Menchen »

(Bottled 2008.) The hue is the most brown of the six colheitas tasted today. (The others being 1950, 1957, 1966 Kopke, 1965 Barros, and 1967 Taylor.) My pour has a lot of sediment, as do the pours of most of the other people around me. It smells rubbery and cooked, with some fig underneath that. It tastes so much better than is smells, with sugary fruit and dark brown sugar. 93 points.
