  Dark ruby in color. Violets and dart fruit on the nose. Raspberry and some chocolate notes on the nose as well. Slight herbal notes hiding under some cassis and blueberry on the palate. Long finish. (94 pts.)

Quevedo - The Douro Valley
We visited our good friend Oscar Quevedo at his family's property near São João da Pesqueira, where we roamed through the cellar sampling colheita Ports, single varietal Ports, and white Ports from casks.

We had a wonderful lunch Oscar, and his sister/Quevedo Winemaker Claudia.
