  Cask sample. Crazy dark purple in color with some lightening at the edges. Violets and intense purple fruit on the nose. Dense blueberry on the palate, with structured tannins that should make this a good ager. Acidity and tannins are pronounced on the mid-palate and long finish. (93 pts.)
