Impenetrable dark purple in color with slight dark violet at the edges. Black fruit on the nose with some herbal undertones. Pronounced tannins on the approach and mid-palate. Tart, black cherry and a touch of sweetness on the long finish. (90 pts.) - 2009 Fonseca Porto Late Bottled Vintage Unfiltered - Portugal, Douro, Porto
Extremely dark purple in color with slight clearing on the edges. Medium-bodied, elegant notes. Nice tannins on the mid-palate. Balanced, with tannins popping up on the finish. (94 pts.) - 2009 Cockburn Porto Late Bottled Vintage - Portugal, Douro, Porto
