Brunheda "80" White Tawny Port

(Bottled 2017) This has a wild (not funky, but different) honeycomb cereal aroma, along with sweet candy, French nougat, cola, root beer, cream ale, and sasparilla. It tastes as odd as it smells, with center of a candy bar flavor—not the chocolate, but the nougat or other creamy filling. Then there was an odd beer yeast character. 88 points. (27 Jul 19)
