1963 Croft VP

Very perfumy aromatic, with hint of musk, leasther, and sweet hard candy bon bon. Then swirling reveals some spicy menthol. Like the 1961 Krohn VP tasted immediately prior, this has a tendency towards tawny. But this one has more fruit flavor than the previous three wines (1961 Krohn, 1960 Warres, and 1955 Cockburn VPs), with sweet tangy cherry and plum. The is a little warmth in the long finish, but it is more pleasant than the 1955 Cockburn. 94+ points.
