Tons of sediment. And amazing amount of sediment to be decanted off. Dark color. Still almost opaque. The nose is inviting. You know it's going to be good! chocolate and blackberries and raspberries. Just a touch of heat right away on the palate and then it echos the nose with a lot of dark chocolate, blackberries, and some lime. No heat at all in the finish. So suave in the mouth. Yes it's sweet, but with the acidity almost seems drier than it really is. This bottle is finally showing some progression out of adolescence. It's not the heavyweight bruiser that it once was, but is tending more toward medium bodied. It's still a big wine though. Super impressive and surprisingly easy to drink. The second glass 2 hours later was even a step up. 95+ points
