Extremely dark opaque in color with slight purple on the edges. Some mint, subtle floral notes and band-aid/methol on the nose. Aggressive tannins on the mid-palate. Notes of chocolate and red fruit on the approach. Cherry and a touch of spirit/heat on the very long finish. (93 pts.)
