Decanted for 4 hours (Lots of thick sediment)

Colour. Reminds me of Valpolicella Ripasso, I was going to call it to clear to 15+mm, but holding it up to the light, it's clear through the glass.
Nose. Amazing spiced fruit/mulled wine notes. Floral notes filling the room. Just like the last time I had one of these about 5 years ago.
Mouthfeel. Mature, full, jammy but complex.
Taste. Soft warm spiced fruit, blueberry and pomegranate, hints of rockrose and a small amount of mint/eucalyptus. Secondary flavours coming in, but surprisingly fruity and jammy. Finishing with a long and satisfying finish, no heat.

I still stand by my first tasting notes from 5 years ago, this is a gem from a bad year, but I feel it's reached its peak and should be drunk now. I give it at least ninety two out of one hundred (Forgive me for spelling the score, there seems to be a bug with the form with digits)
