Dark purple-black in color. Opaque except for the very edge of the rim. Black fruit and some herbal notes on the nose. Blueberry and black currant on the palate with intense fruit flavor and well-structured tannins on the mid-palate. Long finish with just a touch of bitterness. (92 pts.)
