Cask sample. Over 100 Years Old. Brown-orange in color with some clearing on the edges. Clear. Mahogany, saline, chocolate, and some mint on the nose. Incredibly unctuous mouthfeel with some saline notes. Lively acidity, with orange peel and some mocha on the palate. Waves of flavor roll over the palate into a long finish. An intense flavor that hangs on swallow after swallow. This wine has never been topped off. (98 pts.)
