1985 Gould Campbell vintage port
Decanted 6 hrs. Dark red colour with a touch of brown. Subdued sweetish aroma with elements of fruit and oak and hints of herbs. Medium to full body. Powerful, elegant, rich, oak, fruit, all in a nice harmony. Well-balanced acidity/sweetness and the structure is well in place. Medium length aftertaste. A “dignified” vintage port. Was very close to get one more point. 94 pts.
