1963 Presidential (Dalva) Golden white port

Bottled 2013. Decanted 30 minutes. Light transparent brown colour. Aroma of citrus, pears, exotic fruits, herbs and actually “old dust”. Full body. Wonderful and elegant entrance of the taste. Although it was quite powerful, it was also silky soft in texture. Pleasantly round. Well-balanced acidity/sweetness and extremely well-structured. Tiny bit bitterness towards the very end. Medium to long aftertaste. 96 pts.
