Bottled in 2012. Strangely, it comes with an old infamous Premier Cru label on it. I'm pretty sure I purchased it at auction.

Pop and Pour. Medium dark amber maple syrup color. There is almost no ruby color. The nose has roasted almonds and caramel. Definite caramel on the palate. Full bodied! The acidity saves this big wine. lemon finish. This Port is very drinkable for such a big wine. There is a touch of alcohol, but not as much as I usually get in these older tawnies. Extremely long finish. Just goes on and on. Superb! I suspect that it will be better tomorrow.

Day 2: Even more viscous. Maple syrup comes to mind. This is closer to a 40 year old than a thirty. It has the weight an complexity of a 40 without the fruit and liveliness of a 30 year old.
