1976 Krohn Porto Colheita - Portugal, Douro, Porto (12/31/2020)
Bottled in 2011. Strong coper color. Maple syrup, cinnamon, honey, and some earthy notes. Smells so "fresh"! .... ah yes, grapefruit. Super complex without getting any obvious tired notes (eg. No VA, etc). Thick texture. Huge wave of maple and honey. Wow! Huge acidity keeps everything in balance. Extremely long nutty finish. One of my favorite Krohn vintages, and this bottle is one of the best! (95 pts.)
