Decanted 5 hrs, which was OK. The cork was abnormally dry and nearly broke into two pieces when pulling the cork. No leakage. Medium red colour with a light rim. Fruity aroma with additions of minerals, wood, soil and actually figs. During the next hour the aroma developed to be even nicer. Medium body. Powerful, fruity, nice tannins. Well-structured vintage port. Well-balanced acidity/sweetness. Easy-drinking, but still, it is interesting all the way. Medium length aftertaste. In my mind this vintage port should be consumed over the next 5 years. 90 pts.
