(Bottled 2007.) Spicy aromas with cinnamon and sandalwood. Swirling gives a little solvent/varnish character. Tastes of caramel and brown sugar, with citrus acidity of lemon and line. Later aromas showed toffee and faint fruit, like watermelon and dried strawberry, and after that, fig and tar. The empty glass smelled buttery, sweet, and of perfume. A really nice wine, and much better than the last bottle of this I tasted, which was also a 2007 bottling. 93-94 points.
Tasting date is approximate. I found this note on a piece of scrap paper as I was cleaning up my study.
