1997 Dow's vintage port

In the mid-/end 1990s I purchased plenty of vintage ports from Berry Bros., London. Picked up at their shop at Heathrow terminal 3, and carried on board myself (or with help of colleagues). Then stored in my purpose-built wine cellar (always dark) since then. The last three tasting notes on Cellartracker (all posted in 2021) are showing 92, 95, 97 pts = average 94,6 pts, which indicates that I have been terribly unlucky with my OWC (6 bottles). This was my 3rd bottle of that OWC. All three have been mid-80s in score.
3rd bottled consumed 16th July 2021. Decanted 5.5 hrs. No leakage. No cork problems. Medium to dark red colour with touch of brown. Aroma of (very) ripe fruit. Full body. Taste is powerful, elegant, plenty (very) ripe fruit (nearly putrefaction). OK tannins. Medium to long aftertaste. The structure is not good in this bottle. 84 pts.
