NV Kopke 20 Year Old Tawny Port

Post by Eric Menchen »

(Bottled 2021.) Initial aroma presents musty cedar cellar, alcohol warmth, and perhaps some mahogany; along with some furniture polish, with a hint of lemon. Then some sweetness shows up in the aroma with cinnamon, caramel, dulce de leche, and butter. There may be some fig hiding in the background. Sugary and fruity in the mouth, with caramel, plum, and sultana. Decent acid too for a very nice wine overall. 93 points.
