Deep aromas with oak, leather, and fresh cut cedar sawdust; along with black cherry, blackberry, and a hint of tomato step. Nice tannins, nice acid, and really nice deep juicy flavor. 94+ points.
I didn't write down "Old Vines" when I wrote this TN, but I'm pretty sure that's what this is. I don't think there is a plain "Garrafeira" otherwise, although on CellarTracker I found one photo of a 2007 version that lacked "Old Vines" on the label. That label otherwise looked nearly identical to those from other years which did include "Old Vines."
