1966 Caves Messias Colheita

(Bottled 2017.) Similar in hue to the 1977 colheita, but a little more like burnt sienna. There is a hint of cloudiness, but good clarity overall. The aroma has a hint of mustiness, along with wood and bark, spirit, some brown sugar in the background, and then coriander and turmeric. The flavor is sweet and caramel-like, with burnt sugar. There is lots of warmth in the long finish. 93 points.
