Dark red brown color, with reasonable clarity. Funky rustic cooked vegetable aroma. Swirling gives some salty sea aroma, reminding me a little of old Colares; along with seaweed and soy, umami, and tar. The flavor is similar to the aroma, but better. It still has some tannins, and good acid. Medium-short finish. This is improving with time, but it is hard to get around that seaweed aroma. 84 points.
