1975 Presidential (Dalva) Colheita port

Bottled 2015 (40 years at bottling). Decanted 1.5 hr (which appeared to be too short. 2.5 hrs works well). Medium brown cognac transparent colour. Aroma was at start dominated by alcohol. Some citrus in the background. Full body. Powerful at start, and citrus is distinct. Nice taste with combination of minerals and wood. Quite round in style. 2.5 hrs after decanting it is showing up as rounder than at the start. Alcohol is also less dominant. After 3.5 hrs the oxidation is building up. Medium length aftertaste. 93 pts.
