This is the top-level red wine of the two products in the cooperation between Roquette family (Quinta do
Crasto) and Bordeaux Cazes family (Lynch Bages). “Three grapes (Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga
Franca), two families and one terroir”. Produced at the Crasto-property.
Decanted 4 hrs, which was OK. Deep purple colour. Subdued complex aroma of minerals, oak and fruit.
Hint of flowers. Full body. Taste is powerful and also elegant. Wonderful Douro red wine with incredible
well-balanced combination of same parts as for the aroma: minerals, oak and fruit. Well-structured and
really well-balanced acidity/sweetness. “Polished” tannins. Slight dryness towards the end, which works
well. Medium to long aftertaste. 97 pts.
