Some relatives purchased this a while back in case I came to visit. Purchased in Florida at a B&M, price unknown. I've not seen this before and the bottle wording is entirely in Portuguese so pretty cool. Bottled in 2014. The wine is slightly cloudy and a brighter orange than most 20s. Lots of honey with a little citrus aroma; quite a strong nose. Not the most complex wine, the dominant flavor is citrus mostly resembling blood orange and good acidity. Hints of butterscotch and creme brulee. An easy drinker but it does not blow you away either.

Never heard of them. They’re based in Regua and from their website they sell their ports really cheaply. Like very inexpensive.

John,

I've come across the Porto Reccua up in Newark at one of the Portuguese wine shops. The one place sell the 20 y.o. and the 40 y.o. At one point they sold the 30 y.o. as well, but someone must have bought the last bottle. They seemed over priced for them being pretty much an unknown producer.
