TN: 2015 Quinta do Vale D. Maria Tinto Douro red

Decanted 3 hrs, which worked well. Deep dark red colour, nearly black. Fruity aroma with oak in the background. Medium to full body. Taste is powerful in a subdued and “round” way. Plenty of fruit and in addition oak and minerals all around the fruit. Slightly dry towards the end. Medium length aftertaste. 91 pts.
