• 2016 Vieira de Sousa Vintage Port - Portugal, Douro, Porto (9/28/2021)
  Very dark purple in color. Floral and red fruit on the nose. The tannins are immediately noticeable on the entry, but they seem to be well on their way to integrating with the fruit. There is a slight bitterness on the mid-palate, but otherwise a very nice flavor profile. There is a nice long finish highlighted by subtle red fruits and some slight herbal notes. (92 pts.)
